Purgatory : ” St. Peter “

Hello everyone, this is my first Review ever made for a miniature, so don't bite me and will do some more in the future ! Anyway, let's begin :

Purgatory is a brand new 32mm miniature game founded in the 2015 by Underestimated Games Limited. The high quality resin minis will be used for a table top gaming system and the first alpha rules will be revelead next year !

Today I'll show " St. Peter ", the latest / recent miniature available.

The box

This is what you will receive, a nice cardboard box with the name of the miniature and the Purgatory logo.

The miniauture

Now, let's take a look to the mini. First of all it is hand sculpted and the cast is perfect, so no air bubbles after the casting and just a little mould line on the torso that can be removed very easily. Details are really nice, especially on the wings, the feathers looking really good !

Peter comes in 6 pieces : body, 2x wings, right arm with the baseball bat ( naaaaaailed it ! ), left arm with the hand holding a cross and a nice round base ( city themed ).

Details

The assembly it's ok, all the parts fits perfectly in the holes ( parts were cutted and polished to remove the edgy " recess " ). Before gluing the miniature, remember to wash it with warm water ( not that super hot 😉 ) and a grease remover, otherwise when priming it, the colour will not attach and slip away !

Conclusions

As mentioned at the beginning, this is my first miniature review and also the first model purchased from Purgatory. What I can say ? Well, I'm super satisfied and very happy with it and can't wait to begin the paintjob. Will purchase 100% the new releases from this talented company, they deserve to be supported. I highly reccomend " St. Peter " to you guys, you won't regret the purchase ( available in the online shop for just 13 £ in high quality resin ) !

Remember to subscribe to their Newsletter, good stuff to read, with previews, artworks and much more !
